Behavior of our Chodský pes from personal experience

It is a shepherd herding dog! Not untypical are some behaviors. Our dog is intelligent and learns quickly, but remains independent. In it's country it is used as a working dog and allrounder. It is a temperamental dog.

Often, you will find Chodský pes to run on long distance, barking at other dogs or people, if not by beginning the dog learns to understand that it is not responsible for that.

The  Chodský pes can show a strong hunting behavior. This applies to channel it right from the very beginning. My dog shows me any wild boar or deer. It has an excellent nose.

It can also be recognized that it runs after every vehicle to live out his hats and hunting properties. It is important to train, to be able to resist the motion stimuli from the beginning. To direct his behavior as possible and at the same time build an alternative.

Our Chodský pes is a high emozional smart dog, with some low threshold on moving objects,

and high reactivity.

Target training can correct this behavior. With positive reinforcement, consistency, patience, empathy our dog can be steered. It is advisible to socialize the young dog.

A large portion of autonomy are inherent in her. Chodský pes are also generally more territorial, objektprotective, attentive but not aggressive. There are sensitive dogs that are very related to their people.

It is absolutely necessery according to the maturity of these dogs to train for utilization.

This dog needs a sufficiently periods of rest so as not to rotate continuously in the red zone and to avoid a permanent hyperactivity. The individuality of each dog in dealing with them must necessarily to be considered.

Our Chodský pes  is a wonderful very affectionate companion. She loves it to companien with the activities with her people. Anouk our Chodský pes is mostly in a good mood, persistent, playful, an active, cheerful companion who is happy demanded. We appreciate our dear Anouk, our versatile, always interrested, and spirited dog companion and look forward to continuing to share a very long time with her.
